I came to KLR because I have always wanted to help people and be in the medical field and this was the perfect start & fit for me. I took the class in February of 2023. I am from Indianapolis, Indiana. Growing up I didn’t have much & didn’t see or experience much. I dropped out of school in the middle of my senior year of high school because I had my second child and I didn’t have a support system to watch my two children or have ccdf to put them in child care so sadly I had to make a decision & choose what was more important at the time and put school and my education on hold. I have my own children now ( theirs five of them now ) and I want to show, give, and make sure they expedite the best of everything and also give them more leeway and chance to be better and do better than I did as a teenager & a young adult who didn’t graduate high school and go to college for a nice & stable career. When the class first started I was a bit scared and nervous and thought it would be impossible to complete with the little time frame and window I had as a KLR student & all the work I was hit with back to back but with YOU Katie as my teacher and guidance person o got through it , finished everything, & passed the class !! YOU MADE SURE OF THAT and you also make sure NOTHING is more acceptable than me passing and you made sure without a doubt that I did just THAT . You stayed packing with me and worked through everything with me despite all the things I was going through & had going on while I was your student and attending KLR pharmacy technician training school. I learned so much about medicine, the dosages, the forms, the back stories, how it all started, and what made you created and form your own school to help other people going through what you went through or similar things you went through to motivate you into making your own path that turned into what you made & built. I am really proud of you & really appreciate everything from start to finish that you and your coworkers// employees had to offer me and my families future !! What helped me the most is your support, guidance, & the fact that you stayed on me and WOULD NOT LET ME FAIL . You have always said “ FAILING IS NEVER AN OPTION HERE AT KLR “ and you meant it, stuck to it , & prowled it into my head and without you or you doing those things I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PASS and BEEN UP FOR GRADUATION NEXT WEEK LIKE I AM NOW . Thankyou for everything and hopefully your still in business and up and running when it’s my children’s turn because they will definitely be attending and I am looking forward to them telling me “ MOMMY MS. KATIE SAID HEY AND that she is happy and proud that you made something of yourself and our family going through her and her establishment . “ You are an amazing woman and teacher . Again , thankyou for the ASTONISHING time I had with you as your student. I wish you the best and I know amazing things and opportunities
