CPhT

I completely flunked my freshman year, and quickly realized if I didn’t fix myself I wouldn’t walk with my class. In july of 2022, I started attending Options Indiana. With the virtual classes at my own pace, I was earning around 3-4 credits every few weeks. I was told I needed to take a certification class inorder to graduate, and that’s where KLR pharmacy school came into the picture. Class with katie was always a blast, she always made the work fun. She was always on top of us about getting work done, but also very helpful. Around the time I was supposed to take my PCTB exam, i was kicked out of my home. I lost all my study materials and laptop. Katie went out of her way to make sure i got the materials I needed and helped me study. I was so proud of myself when i passed the national exam! This class definitely hasn’t been easy but it was well worth it! I think the repetition, and all the note taking is what helped me retain all the information learned in class. This has definitely been an awarding experience for me, but I do not plan on pursuing a career as a pharmacy tech. After graduation, I plan on Attending the medical sonography program at south college. Even though my time with Katie is coming to an end, her words “You can do hard things” will follow me forever. Thank you to everyone at the KLR team for making this possible!
