Olimpia Gonzales

I was born and raised in Honduras, my family and I moved to the United States 13 years ago.  Helping other people has always been one of the things that makes me happy. Which is why I always had the dream  of being part of the health care system.  For many years I stopped believing in myself and fighting for my dreams. Until one day a friend told me about this incredible program which would allow me to be a pharmacy technician.  As soon as I spoke with Katie, I felt supported, and she gave me a lot of confidence. Throughout her class Katie was always there to answer any questions no matter the time.  She made me believe in myself, and thanks to her support and patience, today I have a job in one of the best hospitals in the city.  And my goal is to continue preparing myself to be able to achieve in this career and be an example for my children.
