What brought me to this school was my excel center. I wanted to become a medical biller and coder and they signed me up for this class. I started May 1st - June 26th. I come from a broken home with not much encouragement and was told that I would never amount to anything. I dropped out of high school to take care of my best friend's little girl when he was working because he had nobody else. I fell hard into the wrong path and about 3 years ago I pulled myself out of it and started working on myself and my life. I am originally from Sault ste Marie MI, and moved to Indiana a little over a year ago. With this class I struggled for a while. It was a lot of information in a short amount of time, And the workload was something else but I caught on and worked hard and got adjusted to the work and started to love it. My experience with you was good. you answered all my questions. The thing I enjoyed about the class the most was how you could feel that most of the teachers really cared about getting you where you needed to be and cared about me as an individual. I loved having the ability to talk to my classmates and learning all this new info that will last forever. I think what helped me most was the homework and being able to go back and do assignments to test myself and my knowledge. From this point forward I will be taking my Medical Billing and Coding certification and finding a steady job at one of the nearby hospitals. My goals in this next chapter of my life is to Work hard and make good money.
